9-7. player. 35. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 2nd AFC South. Tennessee Titans. 4

The Tennessee Titans were back in the playoffs for the first time since the 2008 season. A long drought for Titans fans but the team seems to be on the rise and should be contenders for the next couple of seasons.

The Titans will have a new coach running the show in Mike Vrabel. Vrabel is a defensive-minded coach and was the defensive coordinator for the Houston Texans in the 2017 season. Before arriving in Houston, Vrabel was the defensive line coach at Ohio State in 2012-2013. Which should bold well for Kahlil McKenzie.

What defensive tackles are on the Titans roster?

Jurrell Casey (USC) has made a name for himself in his eight-year career. He was a Pro Bowl selection in 2015 and 2016 and has started every game since the 2014 season. He had 41 solo tackles last season with 60 total.

Other players include Bennie Logan (LSU), DaQuan Jones (Penn State), and Austin Johnson (Penn State).

The Titans defense was pretty stout. In fact, they ranked 4th in the league in opponents rushing yards per game. They gave up under 100 yards rushing per game, the actual number was 88.8 yards per game which is quite good.

The Titans organization would be a good fit for McKenzie to go to learn the game for a couple of years with a sprinkle of playing time here and there.

This would be a great fit for Vols fans that love to watch former players in the professional ranks. Nashville is right down the road and would be an easy trip for Knoxvillans. Look for Kahlil to get his shot from the other Tennessee team.
