With four commitments for the 2019 class so far, Tennessee football still has a lot to do. Jeremy Pruitt and co. got a little bit of good news on that front from a player they are targeting, defensive end Justin Eboigbe.
Eboigbe announced on Twitter that the Vols are in his top five. Joining them are the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Auburn Tigers, the Clemson Tigers and the Georgia Bulldogs. So Tennessee football, a team with no Top 10 finishes or 10-win seasons this decade, is competing with three of the four teams in this past year’s College Football Playoff for Eboigbe. All four other teams have at least played for a national title this year.
That shows you the level that Pruitt is recruiting at on Rocky Top. They are not backing down from anybody at this moment.
A four-star on Rivals, Eboigbe comes from Forest Park High School in Forest Park, Ga. At 6’5″ 261 pounds, he already brings pretty good size to the position of defensive end. He’s ranked the No. 10 overall player at his position, the No. 12 player in the state, and the No. 110 player nationally.
Four-star wide receiver sets announcement date
Tennessee football target Ramel Keyton, a four-star receiver on Rivals out of Marietta High School in Marietta, Ga., will be announcing his commitment on Wednesday, May 16. A top target for the Vols, Keyton was initially going to announced on Thursday, May 17.
However, he announced on Twitter Monday night that he moved the date up to May 16. At 6’2″ 180 pounds, Keyton is a Top 40 player at his position and a Top 30 player in the state of Georgia. He’s ranked the No. 231 player overall nationally on Rivals.

The Vols are a favorite to land him, but they still have to compete with the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Penn State Nittany Lions, the Auburn Tigers, the Miami Hurricanes and the Ole Miss Rebels. Simply put, he could go anywhere.
