What a way to end the season with a 31-6 win over Vanderbilt. Finally, Tennessee football is back to the old days where they beat Kentucky and Vanderbilt with ease.
In a freezing cold game, it took a little while to warm up with 17 points in the second quarter. It was a coming out party for Brandon Johnson with a two-touchdown game on seven receptions for 89 yards.
Players of the Game
Offense – Quarterback, Keller Chryst
Chryst had almost a perfect game going 20-for-25 with 209 passing yards and four touchdowns.
Defense – Linebacker, Darrin Kirkland Jr.
Of course, we end the season with Kirkland Jr. leading the team with seven tackles with one being a tackle for loss. He also had one sack to end the season.
