Auburn Tigers at Ole Miss Rebels

Saturday, Oct. 20 at 12 p.m. E.T.; Vaught-Hemingway Stadium; Oxford Miss.

TV: ESPN; Line: Auburn -3.5; Over/Under: 62.5

This is a matchup of two not so good teams. Auburn is coming off back-to-back losses to Mississippi State and Tennessee. Ole Miss, on the other hand, has a two-game winning streak against Louisiana Monore and Arkansas.

I honestly don’t know how to feel about this game. Auburn is a mess, and Ole Miss is kind of just Ole Miss.

At this point, the Tigers are desperate for a win. No way they drop three straight games, right? Ole Miss has a horrible defense giving up 476 yards to Arkansas. I like even a struggling Auburn offense to move the ball.

The wheels has completely come off the Gus Bus. Auburn seems to be the 2017 version of Tennessee football. There offense can’t get anything going and their defense has struggled as well. Going on the road to Ole Miss will be very intriguing to watch.

While Auburn may be more talented talented on paper, their locker room is filled with chaos. Advantage? Ole Miss.

The Ole Miss Rebels are looking uglier and uglier. But then again, so are the Auburn Tigers. Morale is as low as ever among Auburn fans after Gus Malzahn just lost to Tennessee football. And now they have to play a dangerous Rebels offense. So what’s going to happen?

Well, Auburn’s offense is still good when it plays defenses without a lot of talent. That’s Ole Miss. Meanwhile, the Tigers had one of the elite defenses to handle the Rebels. Matt Luke’s team will get a few plays with its big receivers on the outside, but overall, Auburn’s defense will hold just enough. The Tigers win and cover, and they will do it while hitting the under with their defense.
