The Citadel Bulldogs at No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide

Saturday, Nov. 17 at Noon E.T.; Bryant-Denny Stadium; Tuscaloosa, Ala.

TV: SEC Network

Garrett Sanders

Alabama’s goal for this game is very simple. Don’t take any chances on getting your key players injured. But knowing Nick Saban and what he does each week, he will most likely take his chances and play his starters for the first quarter. Even if it is for one quarter, it’s not the smartest of decisions to do so. It may cost him a player. Only time will tell.

As far as this game is concerned, Alabama will win this game hands down. Any chance for an upset this week is as good as the San Francisco 49ers making a run for the Playoffs. This game will be ugly from start to finish.

Does anyone even think this game will be close? Why do we even play these types of games? I honestly think you could spot The Citadel with 42 points and keep the clock running the entire game and Bama would still win by 40.

Tua Tagovailoa will play, but once they are up 21-0 with 7:00 minutes to go in the first quarter, he won’t see the field. All I can say is good luck to the Bulldogs.

Nick Saban will start Tua Tagovailoa and pretend like this game matters. He still pretends like Tennessee football is a rivalry game that he has to take seriously despite never losing to the Vols as the Alabama Crimson Tide’s head coach.

It doesn’t matter. This is an easy one. There’s no line, and Alabama is going to sleepwalk its way to a victory. The most annoying part about the match-up, ahead of their showdown with the Auburn Tigers, is that it might actually be on TV.
