Idaho Vandals at No. 13 Florida Gators

After last week’s “Miracle at The Swamp” against the South Carolina Gamecocks, Florida should have it much easier this week. The Idaho Vandals are coming to town. Like any other game, Florida must execute right. We’ve seen in years past were non-power five schools come into Gainesville and give Florida a run for their money. Could that happen this week?

Probably not. The fact that Idaho was once an FBS school but made their movement to the Big Sky in the FCS makes my confidence level for an upset at zero. Florida’s main goal in this game (like many teams in the SEC) is to come out of this game with no injuries. This is an easy week for the SEC. The Gators should be able to take care of business and win easily.

Florida finally got back on the winning track beating the Gamecocks 35-31. The Gators were flying high until they had their annual matchup with the Georiga Bulldogs down in Jacksonville.

Georgia controlled the entire game which had the Gators wondering what is wrong with their offense. They only scored 17 points in back-to-back weeks against Georgia and Missouri.

Florida wins easily this week.

Again, we have another sleeper game. It’s hard to know what to make of the Florida Gators overall, but Dan Mullen’s team finally came back to life last weekend with a comeback win over the South Carolina Gamecocks. In the second half, they looked like the team that torched Tennessee football.

And South Carolina in the second half looked like the team that Tennessee football dominated in the first half of their match-up. Anyway, the Gators are going to ride the momentum and score another easy win over an FCS team this week.
