Well, they weren’t any better coming off the bye and under a new head coach. But at least they kept the LSU Tigers from covering one of the most obscene spreads of the year. Coming off a 56-20 loss, the Arkansas Razorbacks are now in danger of repeating exactly what they did in 2018 when Chad Morris first took over.

Normally, it’s a bad idea to change coaches before giving them three to four years, but the massive levels of regression under Morris make this decision understandable. It’s no surprise that they looked any different under interim head coach Barry Lunney Jr., and former Tennessee football defensive coordinator John Chavis has gotten nothing out of his defense this year.

As a result, the Hogs belong at the bottom of our SEC Power Rankings. They are in the midst of 18 straight SEC losses and could end up finishing two straight seasons without a conference win, which would be disastrous. Dating back to 2017, they have lost 22 of 23 SEC games, their only win coming over the Ole Miss Rebels by one point.

This program is, to put simply, a disaster. But they have a chance to somewhat improve and at least have a better record than they had last year. Their final game is at home against a team winless on the road, and it happens to be against the next team we have on this list.
