Scouting Report. 3. player. 839. Pick Analysis. Linebacker. Nashville, Tenn.. Daniel Bituli

Linebacker is all about production. Daniel Bituli dominated for Tennessee football his last two years when it came to production despite his injuries early on this year, and he also proved his ability to play in different systems as an outside rusher and inside linebacker in a 4-3 and then as the leading inside linebacker directing defenses in a 3-4.

That’s secondary to Bituli’s size, which is where it needs to be at with his 6’3″ 252-pound frame. Provided nothing related to his injury issues show up, it’s hard to see him hurting himself at this week’s combine. The only thing that might hold him back is the fact that he was banged up down the stretch of this past season.

However, everybody who watched Bituli at full strength is fully aware that he has the necessary physical tools to be elite at the next level. There was never any debate about that dating back to when he was being recruited, and he was always the guy with the physical advantages when he

Given that fact and the fact that he produced at a high level in college, there’s really not much that’s likely to move the needle for Bituli this week, so he doesn’t have that much to gain. The only question is whether or not certain health issues arise this week, and that’s where he could hurt his NFL Draft stock at the combine.
