The Manning-Brady rivalry has many elements to it on the football field. However, Manning’s retirement has likely given him much more experience on the golf course over the past few years than Brady’s has, and Woods has proven himself to be a much better golfer than Mickelson anyway. As a result, Manning and Woods are clearly the favorites.
However, that’s not going to change anybody’s opinion of the rivalry between Manning and Brady. If anything, Woods and Mickelson have more to compete for since this is actually the chosen profession for both of them.
With a $10 million baseline, proceeds from the match will go to a variety of charities as part of the focus to help those affected, physically and economically, by the COVID-19 pandemic. All of Vol Nation will obviously be rooting for Peyton Manning. This is going to be the first competitive thing many of them have cared about since the shutdown of sports began in March.
