Other top prospects part 1

Note: These are other prospects who don’t have the elite ratings of previously mentioned prospects but who still have the Vols among their finalists. As a result, they could be just as relevant to Rocky Top’s 2021 recruiting class, and they could end up being rising stars as well.

Javon Bullard

  • Ratings: Three-star (Unanimous)
  • Size: 6’0″ 168 pounds
  • Hometown: Milledgeville, Ga.
  • High School: Baldwin

Another cornerback who brings a solid amount of size, Javon Bullard could definitely be a solid pickup for the Vols. He’s a guy who could stand to put on some muscle, but the potential for him is already there.

This Georgia  prospect has Tennessee football in his top seven, and there are no favorites yet on the Rivals Future Cast or 247Sports Crystal Ball. As a result, Jeremy Pruitt could definitely have the Vols in play given his connections to the state.

Christian Charles (Athlete)

  • Ratings: Three-star (Rivals); NR (247Sports)
  • Size: 6’1″ 185 pounds
  • Hometown: Gainesville, Ga.
  • High School: Chestatee

Similar to Damarius McGhee, Christian Charles is rising faster than some recruiting services are able to keep up. Listed as an athlete out of Georgia, defensive back will likely be his focus, even though he is playing quarterback in high school.

Again, there are no predictions for him yet, but UT did just make his top five. As he continues to rise, there will likely be more programs interested in him. He clearly has great height, and at 185 pounds, he has solid size as well, so he could be in great position to play nickel or safety.
