7. Grad transfers Keyen Green, Jordan Walker and E.J. Anosike arrive

With key losses come key arrivals. Tennessee basketball received a shot in the arm in the post with a commitment from Sacred Heart Pioneers graduate transfer E.J. Anosike, the brother of former Lady Vols star and two-time national champion Nicky Anosike.

At the time, there was hope that Rick Barnes could play big with John Fulkerson, Yves Pons and Anosike, as Anosike averaged a double-double his last year with Sacred Heart. At 6’7″ 245 pounds, he is averaging just over four and a half points and nearly four rebounds a game off the bench, but he is showing flashes of being much more dominant.

Meanwhile, after losing Zaay Green and Jazmine Massengill, Kellie Harper added two new players. She added a graduate transfer combo guard in Jordan Walker from the Western Michigan Broncos, and Walker has become a valuable offensive weapon.

Unfortunately for the Lady Vols, the addition of Liberty Flames graduate transfer forward Keyen Green won’t pan out this year. Green suffered a season-ending injury early on, meaning this team will have to handle this season a bit short-handed at the four spot. They still have plenty of talent to work with, though.
