Okay, so last week was brutal for us. All of our

were on

Tennessee football

and the Ole Miss Rebels hitting every over possible, and we told you to stay away from the spread, even though we got the spread right while every under hit. That was a brutal scenario. However, in our defense, Ole Miss and the Vols had key injuries we couldn’t account for.

This week, the Vols have what everybody is considering a certain loss. They’re visiting the No. 4 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide who have refocused after losing two weeks ago to the Texas A&M Aggies. With 14 straight losses in the series, all but two by double digits, there’s not a lot of faith in them to make this close.

Although it’s possible Alabama wins comfortably, there are actually a couple of solid bets to make against them based on lines set by the WynnBET betting odds. Let’s go ahead and dive in for our prop bets this week. Once again, we’ll start this page with the best standard bet and then have a prop bet for each slide before closing with bets to avoids.

Best standard bet: Tennessee +25

Alabama may have owned Tennessee football in this past, but this is a different team. Josh Heupel has the perfect matchup advantages against the Tide, and they aren’t likely to get off to their huge lead that they have often relied on this year, since the Vols are also all about hot starts. That’ll keep this game close until at least the second quarter.

Now, to be fair, this bet is based on the idea that the Vols are healthy. That’s a huge if, but take the chance that Heupel is employing a bit of gamesmanship to have an advantage against the Tide this week. After all, Cooper Mays and Tiyon Evans were both questionable last week but set out.

As a result, both those guys should be fully healthy. Assuming Hendon Hooker is able to go and Cade Mays returns to the lineup, the Vols have a rushing attack to carry the fight to Alabama. Will it result in them winning or even making this a close game? That remains to be seen. However, it’ll at least guarantee that they don’t lose by four scores.
