It’s not like interceptions are Kentucky’s only problem on offense. They are also one of the worst teams at avoiding fumbles, as they have committed 14 on the year and lost seven of them, which ranks them tied for No. 106 in the nation. They are next to last in the SEC in that category, only ahead of the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Honestly, we could have put Aaron Beasley here, as he is the only player to have recovered two fumbles for Tennessee football on the season. However, that’s more about luck. Forcing the fumbles is much more important, and plenty of players could do that.

Kamal Hadden and Alontae Taylor both could have made this list, as secondary players already make big plays against UK, and they have forced fumbles. However, to spread the wealth, somebody has to stand out up front as well.

Matthew Butler is the one player up front who has forced a fumble. He may be the Vols’ best defensive player in general, and UT will obviously need to stop the run to make sure it wins. As a result, Butler is one of the key guys who will have to step up for the Vols. He has consistently been elite over the past three games, and the Vols will need him again.
