Tennessee Football: Jalin Hyatt continues to impress NFL scouts
By Blake Wyman
Tennessee Football’s breakout player of the year, Jalin Hyatt, has been skyrocketing in the recent draft projections, some of which may be surprising.
After Tennessee football’s WR1, Cedric Tillman, went down with an injury early in the year, the Junior had to step up to the plate, and he delivered. Hyatt went off last season and has put together quite the resume which NFL scouts are obsessing over.

Jalin Hyatt had 1,267 yards and 15 Touchdowns in his epic Junior season. Multiple CBS Sports Analysts currently have Tennessee football’s WR listed at the following:
Chris Trapasso: Round 1, Pick 21 (Chargers)
Kyle Stackpole: Round 1, Pick 26 (Cowboys)
Ryan Wilson: Round 1, Pick 29 (Saints)
All three of these analysts have Jalin Hyatt projected to be a first-round pick, and he continues to impress these scouts with his lightening fast speed, and amazing route running.
NFL Rookie Watch tweeted the following on Twitter:
"“Jalin Hyatt said he is targeting to run a ‘4.29’ in the 40-yard dash next month at the NFL Combine. Only 16 players in the history of the NFL Combine have run faster than that.”"
Hyatt could very well end up being the best Wide Receiver in the draft this year. However, many other draft boards have him listed around the No. 3 best WR in the upcoming draft
