Tennessee Baseball: Vols break record in win vs. Alabama A&M

Tennessee baseball seems to finally have its swagger back and has been destroying teams left and right. 

The Vols recorded their third win of the season on Wednesday by knocking off Alabama A&M. Tennessee baseball’s bats were on fire, and they rallied together after a difficult opening weekend.  Tennessee baseball soundly defeated Alabama A&M by a score of 23-1 at Lindsey-Nelson Stadium.

Tennessee baseball breaks school record

The Vols broke the program’s single-inning record on Wednesday by putting up 15 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning. The Volunteers were winning by 5 heading into the 5th inning, but Charlie Taylor kicked off a monumental inning with a three-run homer. Ever since then, the rest was history.
