The NFL off-season has been quite eventful lately, and five former Tennessee Football studs have been picked up off free agency.

While most of the news surrounding Tennessee Football is focused on the upcoming draft, plenty of movement has been going on in Free Agency, and the Vols have been making a statement.

Cameron Sutton (CB) – Detroit Lions

Contract: 3-year, $33M deal, per CBS Sports.

Analysis: Cameron Sutton is coming off of one of his best seasons so far with the Steelers. He made a name for himself in Pittsburgh by posting career highs in pass deflections and Interceptions. He tallied 15 and 3, respectively, and had 43 tackles last season.

Furthermore, according to CBS Sports:

"“Sutton originally entered the NFL as a third-round draft choice of the Steelers in 2017 out of Tennessee. After playing out his rookie contract, he signed a two-year, $9 million deal to remain with Pittsburgh in 2021 and had just finished that deal. Now, he’s seeing a much larger payday following a breakout season.”"

Emmanuel Moseley (CB) – Detroit Lions

Contract: 1-year, $6M deal, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Analysis: Before getting picked up by the Lions, Moseley played 45 games with the San Fransisco 49ers and started in 33. In the five years with the 49ers, he had 162 tackles, 33 pass deflections, and 4 interceptions.

Furthermore, according to USAToday:

"“Moseley played the best football of his career last season before tearing his ACL in a Week 5 win over the Panthers. A one-year prove-it deal for the 26-year-old should allow him to cash in next year in free agency, provided he stays healthy.”"

Shy Tuttle (DL) – Carolina Panthers

Contract: 3-year, $19.5M ($13M guaranteed), per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Analysis: Tuttle was undrafted out of Tennessee, landed in New Orleans, and played great football. He is now moving on to play for the Panthers. He will fit in exceptionally well with the new defensive schemes they are bringing in and several good draft picks.

Furthermore, According to The Charlotte Observer,

"“Tuttle, listed as 6-foot-3 and 300 pounds, fills a significant hole upfront within the Panthers’ defense as the unit switches to a 3-4 base scheme. Tuttle is considered a versatile run defender. With Matthew Ioannidis likely to leave in free agency, and Carolina switching up its scheme under new defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero, the Panthers were projected to have a fresh set of linemen around former first-round pick Derrick Brown this year.”"

Marquez Callaway – Denver Broncos

Contract: N/A

Analysis: The former Saints WR, Marquez Callaway, is reuniting with head coach Sean Peyton in Denver this upcoming year.

Furthermore, according got Yahoo Sports:

"“In 2021, he caught 46 receptions for 698 yards and six touchdowns with Sean Payton calling plays. Now he and Payton have reunited in Denver.”"

Josh Dobbs – Cleveland Browns

Contract: 1-year, $2M, per 247Sports.

Analysis: Josh Dobbs had an impressive two games for the Titans last season, threw for 411 yards, and recorded two pass touchdowns. Dobbs is likely going to be the second or third-string QB in Cleveland.

Furthermore, according to On3 Sports,

"“A former fourth-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, Dobbs has seen limited action across his pro career. He spent the first two seasons of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers and later made stops in Jacksonville and Detroit.Dobbs spent four seasons with the Volunteers from 2013-16, including the final two seasons as a starter. He led Tennessee to an 18-8 record and two bowl wins in those last two years, throwing for 5,327 yards, 42 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions.”"
