5-star David Gabriel Georges can't stop making 80-yard TDs look so dang easy

Stop us if you've heard this before, but the future simply could not be brighter for 5-star running back David Gabriel Georges once he makes the move from Chattanooga to Knoxville. The Tennessee RB commit was once again electric for The Baylor School on Friday, with his night being highlighted by an 80-yard catch and score.

This of course isn't the first long TD for DGG this season, but what's truly impressive is just how easy he makes things look with the ball in his hands. As you'll be able to see in the video below, Georges caught a pass, then made his move up the field. No one was going to stop him from finding the end zone:

I mean, come on. A simple screen like that shouldn't normally result in an 80-yard touchdown, but an offense is always going to be different with Georges on the field. At multiple points, it looked like a defender was going to be able to get a body on him, but Georges cut back and made those would-be tacklers look silly.

Hey, that's going to happen when you're facing a 5-star talent and the No. 2 running back in the country. If anything, this serves the Tennessee faithful another exciting reminder that Georges is going to be a total stud once he graduates from high school and makes the move to the UT campus.

He's going to be expected to make an immediate contribution, no doubt. And if running back DeSean Bishop returns for another season, those two power backs will form a powerful 1-2 punch for Faizon Brandon to take full advantage of.

Bishop is coming off a career-high showing against Georgia Tech, as he rushed for 147 yards. More of the same is expected in Week 3 against Kennesaw State and then the hope is he'll be downright sensational against No. 1 Texas when the Longhorns travel to Neyland Stadium for a Week 4 heavyweight fight.

That's a showdown Georges will be following closely come Sept. 26 and he'll be doing so knowing that he'll be playing in those kind of big-time SEC matchups soon enough. It wasn't easy for the Vols to take down Ohio State and so many others in landing Georges, but it's a testament to the hard work posted by Josh Heupel and the staff as a whole. This kid is the real deal and he's only building his incredible hype with the types of plays he's making thus far this season. You can add this latest head-turning TD to the long list.
