The Tennessee football team is going to be back at Neyland Stadium this weekend and you already know 100,000 fans are going to be screaming their heads off. Out on the recruiting trail, Josh Heupel is still working overtime with top prospects and he's going to have a top target on campus on Saturday.

That'd be 5-star running back David Gabriel Georges, who is a 2027 standout for the Baylor School over in Chattanooga. The stud running back was in town for the Georgia game and according to On3's Matt Ray, he'll be in Knoxville once again to see if Tennessee can take care of business against Arkansas:

5-star RB David Gabriel Georges will be back at Tennessee this weekend
Gabriel Georges is in no rush to shut down his recruitment and make a decision, but the fact that he's going to be back at Tennessee for the second time this campaign is pretty telling. With him being an in-state talent, it adds to the importance of Heupel potentially landing him.
The Vols of course aren't the only powerhouse chasing his commitment. Another school picking up some steam here would be Ohio State, as the Buckeyes are showing DGG a ton of love and he has taken a recent unofficial visit there as well.
What may help Tennessee here is that the Baylor School is within driving distance from the UT campus and the fact that 5-star Baylor School offensive tackle Gabriel Osenda is already Knoxville-bound as a member of the 2026 class. Osenda is surely helping with the efforts there.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Gabriel Georges is ranked five stars and the No. 2 running back in the country. He's already up to more than 30 offers, which tells everyone that college coaches across the country have taken notice of his game. Tennessee should be in this particular recruiting battle until the end, but it's smart of Heupel to keep getting him to town consistently. A dominant win over Arkansas will help things out here too.
