We are only a few days away from fall camp getting here for Tennessee football and Day 1 can't get here soon enough. There are some key position battles on the way, but the expectation is that freshman David Sanders Jr. will man the spot at right tackle.
Sanders graduated high school early and went through spring ball with the Vols. Now, he's set to be a problem for the rest of the SEC and be a key playmaker for Josh Heupel. Sanders took to social media to let everyone know how excited he is for his freshman season to arrive. In doing so, he also showcased to people that he's looking like someone who is going to give opposing d-linemen all kinds of issues moving forward. Just look how big he looks:

David Sanders Jr. doesn't look like a Tennessee freshman at all in pre-camp photos
This kid is still a teenager? Hard to believe, as he 100 percent looks like a grown man. For the 2025 class, Sanders signed with Tennessee as one of the top-ranked prospects in the country. He was a 5-star guy and the No. 2 offensive tackle in the nation.
Despite being a youngster, the 6-6 OT didn't was any time in making noise in Knoxville during his spring ball. When he was a senior in high school, he checked in at 290 pounds. However, he's already added plenty of size and muscle, now being listed at 305 pounds on the official roster.

Sanders will look to put a stranglehold on his right tackle starting job as soon as camp opens. The expectations for him are through the roof, as he has so many people convinced that he's going to be the next big thing to come out of the program.
In the winter, Ohio State went above and beyond to try to flip him, which had a lot of people convinced he was going to be Columbus-bound. Thankfully, that didn't prove to be the case and an eye-opening Year 1 should be on the way for the true freshman. The sky is the limit for this kid, no question.
