Will the Vols be able to pull off the huge flip?

The massive offensive tackle hasn't even played in a game for the Tennessee football team yet, but there's no question that David Sanders Jr. is already winning over plenty of Vols fans. He'll be able to add to his early legacy if he helps Tennessee come out on top of a monster recruiting battle.

This weekend, 5-star wide receiver Tristen Keys was among the many high-profile prospects on campus for an official visit. Tennessee commit Faizon Brandon, a 5-star QB, was also in town trying to put in recruiting work on Keys.

The same could be said for Sanders, who was doing his part to give Keys something to think about moving forward. On Saturday night, Sanders took to social media to hype up Keys, while he also didn't forget about Brandon either:

5-star WR Tristen Keys appears to have had a great Tennessee official visit

Sure looks like Keys had a great time, right? You bet. While he still remains committed to LSU, it's clear that Tennessee continues to make an impression on him. It was a smart move by Heupel and the Vols to make sure Brandon was in town as well.

As for Sanders, you've got to love that he's putting in serious work like this to help Tennessee try and land one of the top prospects for the 2026 class. According to the 247Sports Composite, Keys is ranked five stars, the No. 1 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 3 recruit overall for '26.

This past winter, Sanders made things official with the Vols, signing as a 5-star prospect himself and the No. 1 OT in the land. He has a bright future ahead of him and the expectation is that he'll start at right tackle as a true freshman.

The hope is a big Year 1 will be on the way for him. Then once the 2026 campaign gets here, Sanders will be ready to ball out again, but he'll keep pushing for Keys and Brandon to be part of the offense with him too.
