5-star Vols OT David Sanders Jr. looked like a force at Polynesian Bowl practices

Yet another reason to get excited about Sanders' future.

The future is bright for future Tennessee Vols offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. There were plenty of nervous fans out there, though, as Sanders was on the verge of flipping to Ohio State during the Early Signing Period, but UT was able to hold the Buckeyes off.

Now, Sanders is getting ready to make a statement in Knoxville and he's in line to push for serious playing time during the 2025 campaign. Before that, however, Sanders is turning heads at the Polynesian Bowl, with him looking like a force during practices. OT David Sanders Jr. has a tremendous future ahead with Tennessee

Talk about a perfect rep. Sanders is a brick wall and pass-rushers are going to have a nightmare trying to get past him in the coming seasons. Sanders is ranked the No. 1 OT for his class and for good reason - he's a big-time talent.

It wasn't easy for the Vols to get him to sign, as Ohio State indeed was on the cusp of pulling off the biggest flip of the winter. Instead, Sanders ended up putting the pen to paper to play his college ball in the SEC, which was a major relief for Vols fans everywhere. With the Polynesian Bowl coming on Friday night, look for him to make another statement.

How to watch David Sanders Jr. and other Tennessee signees in the 2025 Polynesian Bowl

If you're hoping to watch Sanders put on a show at the 2025 Polynesian Bowl, be sure to tune in to the NFL Network at 9 p.m. ET on Friday night. Keep in mind, however, that Sanders isn't the only future Tennessee playmaker who will be in action.

In addition to Sanders, receiver Travis Smith Jr., quarterback George MacIntyre, tight end DaSaahn Brame and d-lineman Ethan Utley will be suiting up for this one as well. Let's see what these youngsters are able to get done under the bright lights.
