There are plenty of 5-star targets the Tennessee football team is still in on. The list of course includes wide receiver Tristen Keys, who is an LSU commit. Despite Keys, for now, being Baton Rouge-bound, that isn't stopping Josh Heupel from going all-in on him.
Come this weekend, Keys will be taking his Tennessee official visit, which is something that fans are pretty dang fired up about. Keys may have given LSU his verbal, but it looks like he's got one foot out the door. Could a flip be on the way?
If that does end up happening, there's no question that Tennessee will have to put a handsome NIL deal on the table to convince Keys that Knoxville is the right place for him. According to On3's Pete Nakos, Keys will be getting a deal worth around $500,000-$1 million as a freshman. Is this something UT will be ready to put on the table?

The last thing Tennessee wants to get involved in is a negotiating war, as the program just went through plenty of offseason drama with Nico Iamaleava. However, it should be noted that Keys is the No. 1 WR in the country and NIL deals are part of the game right now.
This isn't the first time Keys has been in Knoxville for a visit, as he clearly likes what Tennessee has to offer. According to the 247Sports Composite, he's ranked five stars, the No. 1 WR out there and No. 3 prospect overall for his class.
Last fall, 247Sports insider Tom Loy put in a Crystal Ball pick for Keys to commit to Tennessee, but he surprised a lot of people when he announced for LSU. Despite that, Keys' recruitment process isn't even close to being done. Tennessee will be rolling out the red carpet for him in the coming days. On top of that, a handsome NIL offer will also be needed if Tennessee eventually wants to land this kid.
