5-star WR Tristen Keys will visit the Tennessee football team on June 13
Despite him being committed to Brian Kelly and the Tigers, it's safe to say that several programs are still in the hunt to land Keys' signature during the Early Signing Period. The Vols have been high on him for quite some time.
When Keys originally committed to LSU, a lot of Vols fans were a bit surprised, as it looked like Tennessee was in a good spot to win the monster recruiting battle. The 6-2, 180-pounder is ranked five stars, the No. 1 wide receiver in the country and No. 3 prospect overall according to the 247Sports Composite. The Mississippi product has more than 30 offers to his name too. He's got a boatload of powerhouses after him.
Thus far, Tennessee holds verbal pledges from 5-star playmakers Faizon Brandon and Gabriel Osenda, while RB Savion Hiter, the No. 1 running back in the country, is also high on UT. Heupel somehow landing both Hiter and Keys would make the 2026 offense even more explosive than it's looking now. For now, Keys remains LSU-bound, but Heupel is going to look to prevent that from happening by selling Keys on the future he'd have if he decides to call Knoxville his next home.
