It's time for the Tennessee Vols and head man Josh Heupel to take things into overdrive with their 2026 recruiting efforts. While it's not going to be packed this weekend, the same won't be the case moving forward with the official visit season upon us.

There are a boatload of prospects expected to make their way to Knoxville over the coming weeks for their OVs. The list features several 5-star prospects, including Vols commits Faizon Brandon and Gabriel Osenda.

However, they're not the only ones who could be getting ready to suit up for UT once the '26 campaign gets here. Will Heupel end up landing these two standouts we've got on commit watch? We're talking about running back Savion Hiter and EDGE Tristian Givens.

Multiple analysts have predicted Tennessee to land 5-star RB Savion Hiter

When it comes to Hiter, he's been a target Vols fans have been eyeing for quite some time. Last weekend, he was back on campus for a surprise unofficial visit. On Friday, he's making his way to Columbus for his OV with the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Hiter, the No. 1 running back in the country, is down to Ohio State, Tennessee, Michigan and Georgia. Tennessee is getting his last official visit, giving Heupel a monster opportunity to get the final word in before Hiter shuts things down and announces his commitment. The Vols indeed are looking strong here.

5-star EDGE Tristian Givens recently said the Vols are the 'top dog' for his recruitment

A week before Hiter gets to town, Givens will be at Tennessee for his June 13 official visit. This is also a huge trip for Heupel, as Givens is ranked five stars, the No. 3 EDGE in the country and the No. 23 player nationally for '26.

Similar to Hiter, Givens was in Knoxville for the 865 Live recruiting event earlier this month. After that trip, he didn't hesitate in telling 247Sports' Ryan Callahan that the Vols are the top dogs in terms of his recruitment. With a great official visit, Heupel could get things across the line. Can you imagine if both Hiter and Givens give their verbals? Goodness, it'd be epic.
