This would lead to parties being thrown all over town. For a while now, the Tennessee football team has been in pretty darn good shape with 5-star running back Savion Hiter. He has taken several trips to Knoxville and his official visit is coming on June 20.
Hiter was just on campus last weekend for the '865 Live' event, which was a pleasant surprise. His stay went quite well. So much in fact, recruiting insider Adam Gorney has followed things up by putting in his official prediction for the Vols to land his commitment. It goes without saying, but this would be a monster recruiting win for Heupel and Co.
5-star RB Savion Hiter has been predicted to commit to Tennessee football
So, you're going to have a 5-star quarterback in Faizon Brandon in the backfield with a 5-star RB if Hiter commits? Oh, and don't forget that 5-star offensive tackle Gabriel Osenda will be blocking for both of them, as the in-state OT is also Tennessee-bound.
We don't have to tell you that the Vols adding Hiter to the 2026 verbals' list would be incredible. Per the 247Sports Composite, Hiter is ranked five stars, the No. 1 running back in the country, No. 1 player from Virginia and the No. 17 player overall.
He's got superstar running back at the college level written all over him. Tennessee capturing his pledge sure isn't going to be easy, however. In addition to his official visit to Knoxville, the 5-11, 200-pounder will also be taking an OV to Ohio State this weekend, plus Georgia on June 6 and Michigan on June 13.
Those are his four finalists, with things being a bit wide open. However, this isn't the first time a recruiting expert has put in his pick for Hiter to don Tennessee gear at the next level. How his upcoming official visits go will play a huge role in his final decision. Heupel and his coaches are going to have to roll out the red carpet for him once June 20 gets here.
