As things stand, there are several 5-star targets that the Tennessee Vols are hoping to land this cycle. The list includes EDGE Tristian Givens, who was just on campus last week for what turned out to be a pretty darn memorable official visit.

For a while now, Givens has made it quite clear that he's got strong interest in the Vols and that head man Josh Heupel is making an impact on him. Following his recent OV, did the Vols move up on his list? That appears to be the case, as Givens told 247Sports that he felt at home during his two-day stay:

Previously, Givens also said that Tennessee was the 'top dog' when it comes to his recruitment. Multiple times, he has made Vols fans smile with how much he likes the idea of potentially playing for the program. Could he end up being a James Pearce Jr. kind of player for the SEC powerhouse?

That's what Heupel is hoping, but it's not going to be easy. In addition to Tennessee, Givens is giving a serious look to Washington, USC and Texas A&M. Givens is all set to shut down his recruitment and announce his decision on June 23, which is something people are quite excited about.

According to 247Sports, the 6-3, 215-pounder is ranked five stars, the No. 3 EDGE in the country, No. 4 player from Georgia and No. 23 player overall for the 2026 class. Throughout his recruitment, the UT target has picked up more than 30 offers.

With his final decision coming on Monday, several fanbases are going to be sitting on pins and needles in hopes of him announcing for their favorite school. Tennessee is in a great spot to potentially land this kid. Come early next week, we'll know for sure if he'll be Knoxville-bound to play his college ball or not.
