Ohio State fans are quick to troll the Vols over this.

Throughout the week, the new Netflix show 'Any Given Saturday' has made countless headlines. If you haven't seen it yet, we recommend you check it out. At the same time, there are some unfortunate memories brought back up for the Tennessee football faithful.

The loss to Arkansas was of course featured, as was the loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes in the first round of the College Football Playoff. Vols supporters were hoping to turn The Shoe into Neyland North, but the Buckeyes cruised to a win, dominating UT and Nico Iamaleava.

A quick look on social media shows that Ohio State Nation is collectively dunking on Tennessee for what went down in that matchup. We hate to admit it, but the Buckeyes dominated play from start to finish, which is why so many people are chirping quite a bit right now:

Ohio State fans are quick to remind Tennessee of what happened in the College Football Playoff

We won't lie - it's still painful to see how quickly things got away from the Vols in that one. In the end, Tennessee lost, but that defeat was posted against the reigning national champions. All people can do is tip their caps to Will Howard, Ryan Day, Jeremiah Smith and others.

Offensively, the Vols couldn't get into any kind of a groove. Iamaleava revealed at Big Ten Media Days (it's still weird to say that) the weather that night was much colder than he could have imagined it was going to be. He also admitted that the Vols got slapped around a bit and Ohio State earned the W.

Since that brutal night, there's been a ton of change for the Vols and head man Josh Heupel. Iamaleava is of course no longer in town, as he's suiting up with UCLA and there's an intriguing quarterback battle going on for Tennessee.

On top of that, Heupel loaded up in the transfer portal to help this team try to get back to the College Football Playoff. As for Ohio State, the Buckeyes are once again one of the top teams in the country, ranked No. 2 in the preseason coaches poll. Should these two teams meet again, there's no doubt that the Vols and Heupel will have revenge on their minds. People on campus want to wipe away the rough memories from that game in Columbus as soon as possible.
