CFP ticket prices for Tennessee at Ohio State are more affordable than you'd think
Come Dec. 21, Columbus is going to be rockin' for the showdown between Tennessee football vs. Ohio State. In the first round of the College Football Playoff, these two teams are going to be fired up to try and take down one another and ruin natty hopes.
It has been reported that 3,500 tickets will be allotted for Tennessee fans, but we already know plenty of others are going to find a way to make their way inside of the stadium. So, if you decide to buy some tickets for the action, how much is it going to cost you? As it turns out, not as much as you might have originally guessed:
Tennessee is hoping to stun Ohio State in Round 1 of the CFP
So, two tickets will run you $344, about $170 each? That's still a bit high, but not as bad as some fans thought it would be. Hey, it could be worse - you could be an Indiana or Notre Dame supporter and be looking to pay around $500 per seat.
Luckily, that's not going to be the case for the dance in Columbus. Ohio State has opened as a six-point favorite, but let's not forget the last time OSU hosted a game, they were embarrassed at home by Michigan. Tennessee is also entering this contest with plenty of confidence.
Josh Heupel and Co. ended the season with a 10-2 mark, highlighted by the win over Alabama at home. The losses to Arkansas and Georgia prevented a first-round contest from being played at Neyland Stadium, but Dylan Sampson and the rest of the guys in the locker room don't care about that.
Nope, Tennessee is ready for whatever is put in front of its players. A tough contest against Ohio State is on the way, but something tells us loads of people rocking Vols gear will be making their way to town to make a difference. Sure, tickets could be a bit lower, but at the end of the day, it's really not that terrible.
