When Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel was talking about Joey Aguilar and the impact he has made for the Vols this season, he was overcome with emotion. Aguilar has been a rockstar for the SEC powerhouse and he has won over countless fans.

He's also got plenty of people upset in Gainesville right now, but hey, no one should care about that. Aguilar and Tennessee just took down Florida 31-11, ending a 10-game road losing streak to the Gators. Yup, UT hadn't won at Florida since 2003.

Think Aguilar and the rest of the Vols were fired up about the victory? Everyone was all smiles and Aguilar took things to a different level by hitting the 'Gator Chomp' several times while making his way to celebrate with Tennessee fans. Come on, this is just incredible:

Look at that smile on Aguilar's face. Yup, the victory meant a ton to him and he has played a huge role in the Vols going 8-3 through 11 games. Next up is a home showdown against Vanderbilt at Neyland and Tennessee is ready to play CFP spoiler against Diego Pavia.

Before the Vandy prep gets here, however, the win against Florida is something that the players are going to enjoy for a little while. They've earned it. It had been a long 22 years since a Tennessee squad left The Swamp with a win to their name.

While the Vols struggled in the second half after looking so brilliant in the first 30 minutes of action, it really didn't matter. Tennessee was so dominant in the first half, there was no way back for the Gators, as their brutal season continues.

The Vols and Aguilar were the better team and now they're going to want to close the regular season with a bang. For Aguilar, it's likely going to be his last home game, though the door is open for a 2026 return with him now ready to take legal action to make that happen.
