We have called out Tennessee athletic director Danny White enough times to lose count. But when he hits things out of the park to make life even sweeter for Tennessee fans who make their way to Knoxville for a football game, it is time to tip our cap to him. And this now includes White making sure the 'happy hour' that was present for the Texas game is not going anywhere moving forward.
In case you missed it last weekend, Tennessee made sure gates were open three hours before kickoff, with concessions, including cold adult beverages, listed at 50 percent off for the first hour. It was welcomed with open arms by the Tennessee faithful, and now the same promotion is going to be available for home games the rest of the season. Come on, this is just awesome:

Tennessee's happy hour promotion is something Vols fans everywhere can get behind
A quick look on social media shows that Vols fans could not be happier about this and no one can blame them for that. The feedback from the Texas game could not have gone better, with people praising White left and right for making this addition happen for the game day experience.
Hey, you put half-off beers on the table for Vols Nation and people are going to be pretty quick to take advantage of things. Tennessee fans are known for being a passionate bunch, which even Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian noticed before kickoff of the Week 4 action.
Now this weekend, it will be Alex Golesh and Auburn who will look to prevent everyone in the stands from rattling them. That is of course easier said than done, as the environment at Neyland Stadium is incredibly difficult to match. That is going to be on full display for Tennessee vs. Auburn, especially with the Vols in need of a win.
Plenty of hearts continue to ache after Faizon Brandon's Hail Mary attempt fell to the ground, securing the 20-17 win for the Longhorns. That can all be forgotten should the Vols take care of business against Auburn, with Alex Golesh in need of being served a giant piece of humble pie. UT supporters will be ready to do their part, with White giving so many people yet another reason to get to the stadium early and make it a day to remember.
Again, game days in Knoxville are tough to match, but with this new happy hour idea sticking around, it is only going to make sure things are electric even earlier around campus. That is amazing news for loyal die-hards, but it's going to be rough for the opposition. This includes Auburn this week, who will be ready to hear just how passionate Tennessee fans can be. A tip of the cap to you, Danny White. In this case, you have earned it.
