If this is what Tennessee and Josh Heupel can expect from 5-star running back David Gabriel Georges in the future, goodness, life is going to be good. The elite speedster just had his season debut for the Baylor School in Tennessee, and as you might have been able to guess, he looked downright electric with the ball in his hands.

On the night, the power back carried the pigskin 25 times for 173 yards. If that wasn't enough for you to turn your head, he added 78 receiving yards and three total touchdowns in his team's convincing win. So, 251 total yards to start his senior campaign? You better believe it.

5-star Tennessee commit David Gabriel Georges is off to a hot start for his senior season

While the numbers are fantastic, it might be something the Tennessee faithful need to get used to. DGG is without question one of the top playmakers in the country regardless of his position, and he's focused on helping the Baylor School win a state title before he makes the move to Knoxville to begin his college career.

With him being ranked five stars and the No. 2 RB in the country, he has extra motivation to make sure he lives up to the hype this campaign, but so far, so good in that department. What makes Georges so special is that in addition to his impressive speed, he's also a nightmare to try to bring down. Go ahead and watch the video below if you need further proof of that:

Yeah, this kid is not human. Once Georges gets to campus next season, he's also going to be ready to make an immediate contribution, and he'll be getting paid insane money to do so. Per multiple reports, the Vols have given Georges a three-year NIL deal in the $6 million range, betting on him to be the next big thing to hit college football.

For the 2026 season, DeSean Bishop is set to be a stud for Josh Heupel, with the UT faithful eyeing another 1,000-yard season from the veteran running back. In a perfect world, Bishop will return next season and form a two-headed monster with Georges that would give SEC defenses all sorts of issues from start to finish in 2027.

Regardless of that, Heupel and his staff are clearly set at the position for years to come, and people are going to be following Georges quite closely this year. Already, his senior season has started off with a bang, with national attention coming in. More of the same will be on the way throughout the fall, with Vols supporters having every right to be jacked up about his incredible future with the program.
