There's mad and then there's Butch Jones mad. This is something that Tennessee football fans know all about, as the former Vols head coach was never one to shy away from showing his emotions on a consistent basis. Jones is of course no longer in Knoxville, now the head man at Arkansas State.

Let's check in on Jones, shall we? Apparently, he's not feeling too great these days, as another brutal loss arrived on Thursday night. In a showdown against Louisiana-Lafayette, ASU and Jones let a win slip away, falling 34-30. Right after the final whistle, cameras zoomed in on Jones and to say he was livid doesn't quite capture things. Take a look for yourself:

Sheesh, someone get Jones a cookie or something to brighten up his day. That was Jones' reaction after Arkansas State was stuffed at the goal line on the last play of the game. The Red Wolves had a chance to win this one in walk-off fashion, but the opposite went down.

With the loss, Jones and Co. are now 5-6 on the year, but they were just a yard away from being 6-5 instead - talk about a brutal way to end a close contest. Jones and the Red Wolves will now have to beat App State next week in order to get to six wins for bowl eligibility.

It's no wonder he was so upset. The Tennessee faithful know all about Jones and how he handled losses, as his time with the SEC side never went according to plan. In his five years with Tennessee from 2013-2017, he went 34-27. Jones was fired after going 4-6 in '17.

He took over the Red Wolves in 2021, but things haven't gone well for him with Arkansas State either. Jones is now 24-37 with the Red Wolves and people are losing patience. With his team struggling so much, it's no wonder he was downright furious on Thursday. Sorry, Butch, but that clip above is going viral and there's nothing you can do about it.
