With the Elite 11 Finals here, we don't have to tell you that countless Tennessee football fans are keeping an eye on 5-star quarterback commit Faizon Brandon. The elite signal-caller has wasted no time putting on a show too, which has people excited about his future.

On Tuesday night, the future Vol turned plenty of heads by winning the Elite 11 Rail Shot Challenge. As you'll be able to see in the clip below, Brandon was throwing the ball with plenty of zip and his accuracy was off the charts:

It's hard to watch that clip of Brandon and not get excited about what's to come for him in Knoxville. Everyone has to wait until the 2026 season for him to make his way to campus, but trust us when we say it's going to be worth the wait.

The future of the Vols is going to be bright with Brandon at the helm, especially with Nico Iamaleava bailing on the program and returning home to play for UCLA. When Brandon first committed, the timing was perfect, as Nico was likely going to be off to the NFL in '26 and it would open the door for Brandon to potentially run the offense as a true freshman.

That could still be in the cards. Come this fall, Joey Aguilar is expected to be QB1 for head man Josh Heupel and his staff, but Jake Merklinger is of course going to have something to say about that this summer. It will be a fun QB battle to keep an eye on.

Down the road, however, all signs are pointing to Brandon not only running the offense for Heupel, but potentially being one of the top quarterbacks in the country. He's got superstar talent written all over him and he'll be set to make even more noise at the Elite 11 Finals.
