We are inching closer to the Georgia game getting here for Tennessee football and people can't wait for kickoff. It's going to be a magical weekend in Knoxville, which is why Josh Heupel and his staff are ready to take advantage of things in terms of recruiting.
There are going to be several big-name targets in town for Saturday's game, with the list now including 4-star EDGE Andrew Rogers. The 6-6, 240-pounder is currently a Virginia Tech commit, but he's making his way over with his Grimsley High (North Carolina) teammate Faizon Brandon, a 5-star UT pledge. Could a potential flip be in the works here?

Virginia Tech commit Andrew Rogers will visit Tennessee football this weekend
Apparently, per 247Sports' Kolby Crawford, Rogers was supposed to visit VT this weekend, but the Hokies staff canceled his trip out of nowhere. Because of this, it opened the door for the NC product to schedule a new visit and making his way to Knoxville for the College GameDay showdown was a no-brainer for him.
Rogers is also working on setting up other visits too, which has Virginia Tech fans worried that he may not be ACC-bound after all. That's nothing for Tennessee to be concerned about, as it's hoping to get him to play his college ball in the SEC starting in 2026.
Brandon is of course going to help with those efforts, as he's been no stranger to getting things done for Heupel this cycle. Last month, Tennessee pulled off the earth-shaking flip of 5-star wide receiver Tristen Keys, the No. 1 wideout in the country. Brandon did his part there in a big way.
With Neyland Stadium having more than 100,000 supporters in orange for the Georgia game, Rogers is going to get a close-up look at what life could be for him if he decides he wants to play for the Vols down the road. From our chair, getting him on campus for the UGA showdown is smart business from Heupel, as it could prove to be an unforgettable time for everyone involved. With a win, it might send things over the top for Rogers too.
