For those of you who follow Tennessee football recruiting pretty closely, you probably remember that quarterback Harrison Bailey was once a touted quarterback signee for the Vols. Bailey was a 4-star prospect coming out of high school and the No. 3 pro-style QB in the nation.

Things in Knoxville didn't work out for him the way people envisioned, though. He spent two seasons with UT before entering the transfer portal. This past season, he suited up for Louisville, filling in to help the Cardinals win their bowl game.

Bailey is once again back in the portal looking for a new place to call home. While Vols supporters are rooting the best for the youngster, they sure won't be cheering him on if he plays for an SEC rival, especially if it's the Florida Gators:

In his two seasons with the Vols, Bailey tossed for 594 yards and two touchdowns. He then signed with UNLV, spending one campaign there. Then, he suited up for Louisville for the 2023 and 2024 campaigns. With one more season of eligibility left, Bailey isn't ready to say goodbye to college football just yet.

Should he make his way to Gainseville, he'd be the backup quarterback behind freshman phenom D.J. Lagway. The Gators are in need of a new No. 2 signal-caller and Bailey would no question provide head coach Billy Napier with some experience behind his young superstar.

It's up in the air if an offer will be put on the table or not for the 6-5 QB, but depending on how his throwing session goes in front of the Florida staff, we could see Bailey signing with Tennessee's rival. Florida would become the fourth program Bailey ends up playing for, which no one expected when he signed with the Vols as a member of the 2020 class.
