He wasn't the go-to guy in Knoxville for a long time, but while signal-caller Joe Milton was running the offense for the Vols, he was a joy to watch for the Tennessee football team. Milton consistently proved his haters wrong while putting on a show in the SEC.

Since then, he was drafted by the New England Patriots, but he has since made his way to Arlington to suit up for the Dallas Cowboys. On Tuesday, America's Team opened up camp and while a ton of the focus was on Dak Prescott, that doesn't mean that Milton didn't impress as well. Yup, he made some big-time throws, including this one below:

That's just a dime right there. It wasn't the only strong throw Milton made to begin his Dallas career. At the end of the day, this remains Prescott's team and he's going to work overtime to help the Cowboys try to get back to the postseason next campaign and hopefully go on a deep run.

However, Milton is the new backup in town and he'll be ready to deliver for Brian Schottenheimer whenever his number is called. Milton spent the first three years of his college career with the Michigan Wolverines before ultimately making the move to SEC country.

From 2021-2023, Milton was at Tennessee and he took over as the team's starting quarterback during his final fall on campus. That season, he tossed for 2,813 yards and 20 touchdowns, while adding seven more scores on the ground for the Vols.

His fantastic last campaign at the college level led to the Patriots taking him in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. After one season with the Pats, he was traded to Dallas and he's quickly developing solid chemistry with his new teammates. Milton will keep on looking strong at camp and then he'll also be ready to ball out when he sees extensive action in the preseason as well.
