Lady Vols head coach Kim Caldwell has been aggressive in the offseason, rebuilding from scratch after losing the entire roster. The Lady Vols have landed multiple key additions over the past week, and the fun is just getting started.
Holly Rowe doubles down on ripping Danny White despite deleting fiery Lady Vols post
The Lady Vols have recently added guard Avery Mills from Liberty, guard Naomi White from Northern Arizona, and forward Harper Peterson from Stanford to the roster. The good news? More exciting additions are still on the way.
Speaking of that, Tennessee just picked up a commitment from former Georgia Bulldog forward Zhen Craft. The 6-foot-2 freshman averaged 5.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game on 46.9% shooting from the field in 15.7 minutes per game.

The biggest takeaway from Craft's commitment is that Caldwell is still prioritizing bringing in young talent to the program. Craft was a former top-50 recruit, and she proved she can hang in the SEC, one of the best, if not the best, women's basketball conferences.
Forward Zhen Craft elevates the Lady Vols roster immediately
Don't be shocked if Craft has a big role on this team. Players always make a big jump from freshman to sophomore year, and her 6'2 frame is something the Lady Vols need. Craft's rebounding and interior presence will be a huge boost next season, no doubt.
To build on that, Craft delivered one of her strongest performances of the season against South Carolina, a team that recently competed in the national championship against UCLA. She recorded 11 points and eight rebounds in 29 minutes on 5-of-12 shooting. In the previous game against LSU, she added six points and seven rebounds.
It should fire up Lady Vols fans that Craft delivered on the big stage. This is a high-quality ad for Kim Cladwell, who needs to keep stacking up talent brick by brick. Rome wasn't built in a day, and this roster won't be either, but Caldwell needs to find ther right balance of talent, buy-in, and urgency or else next season could be a disaster.
