Lane Kiffin stirs the pot once again after the Joey Aguilar ruling

When Tennessee hosts LSU it will be one of the most anticipated games all year.

The Tennessee football program received some very tough news on Friday when a Knox County Judge ruled that Joey Aguilar was going to be ineligible for the 2026 season. Aguilar was suing the NCAA on a Tennessee state antitrust law with the hopes of getting one more season in Knoxville, but he was ultimately denied.

Judge's explanation for denying Joey Aguilar an extra Vols season is beyond infuriating

Josh Heupel wanted to get one more year for Aguilar, too, as Aguilar would provide a veteran presence in the locker room and quarterback room, but now the Vols will have to turn to a freshman signal-caller next fall.

When the news broke on X, many rival fanbases were trolling, of course, but one man specifically got involved. Former Vols head coach Lane Kiffin had to stick his nose into Tennessee's business once again after the ruling. He said, "When you don't get Tom Mars Involved......" alluding to Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss and his lawyer, Tom Mars.

Lane Kiffin just insists on trolling Tennessee

I mean, I get that there was bad blood back in the day, but does Lane really have to keep getting involved? Aguilar is a great young man and did nothing but good things in Knoxville, and an SEC coach is bashing him for no reason.

When LSU beat out Tennessee for Sam Leavitt, Lane Kiffin had to troll the Vols there, too, of course. I just don't get it. Why does he keep thinking about Rocky Top? Kiffin is a very good coach, no doubt, but the seemingly one sided ebef is odd. Yes, Tennessee fans don't like him, but they aren't following his every move and commenting on everything that happens.

Vols fans cannot wait for the big matchup at Neyland Stadium on November 21 against LSU. I'm sure Lane Kiffin will receive a warm welcome from Tennessee fans, and maybe even a tribute video thanking him! (not)

Right now, Kiffin has the last laugh, but as we inch towards the season, I'm sure Vols fans will be watching every Kiffin move looking to troll him back. Game on.
