Remember when a video went viral of 5-star wide receiver Tristen Keys during his official visit over in Knoxville with Tennessee football? Sure you do. The LSU commit looked like someone who was more than open to potentially changing his mind recruiting wise.

For now, Keys is Baton Rouge-bound and Brian Kelly is excited to have him make plays for him. Let's not jump the gun there, though, as Tennessee head man Josh Huepel is still putting in serious work to flip him. That door remains wide open, as Keys told reporter Sam Spiegelman that a 'final decision' will be made soon enough:

Will Tennessee and Josh Heupel be able to flip 5-star WR Tristen Keys?

Per Spiegelman, Miami, Texas A&M and the Vols are the three schools still in the mix to change Keys' mind. If you're an LSU supporter, you've got to feel pretty concerned that he's going to back off his verbal and announce in favor of one of those three schools.

If Tennessee ends up winning this recruiting race, it'd be a dream come true for the Tennessee faithful. Keys is ranked five stars, the No. 1 WR in the country and one of the top prospects overall for the 2026 class. He's got college superstar written all over him.

As we've mentioned several times before, Tennessee can no doubt sell to Keys that he'd be making his way to campus with 5-star Faizon Brandon, who is ranked the No. 1 quarterback in the country. Those two playing together for the next 4-5 years would be unreal, which is something Tennessee is pitching to him.

Throughout his recruitment, Keys has picked up more than 30 offers. Coming soon, the Mississippi native will reveal if he's going to stick with LSU or if he's going to make the leap and flip his commitment to a different school. Unless he chooses Miami, Keys will be playing in the SEC starting in '26. If that ends up being the case, people all over Tennessee will be keeping their fingers crossed he decides to rock with the Vols.
