It's hard to not get excited about the thought of 5-star wide receiver Tristen Keys potentially suiting up for Josh Heupel and the Tennessee Vols down the road. The speedster remains an LSU commit, but things could not have gone better for him during his official visit over the weekend.

Several videos went viral of Keys having a ton of fun while donning a Tennessee jersey. The Vols and Heupel have been showing him a ton of recruiting love this cycle and it looks like the hard work is paying off. Shortly after his visit, Keys told GoVols247's Patrick Brown that he's got nothing but love for the program:

If you're a Tennessee fan, you've got to love seeing that quote from Keys. It only helps that 5-star quarterback Faizon Brandon was in town over the weekend too helping out with the recruiting efforts. Freshman offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. was also doing his part.

Tennessee pulled out all the stops to impress Keys and there's no doubt that Heupel and Co. were successful in that department. Will the Vols also be successful in flipping the elite playmaker away from LSU and Brian Kelly?

That's not going to be easy, as the nation's No. 1 wideout remains a Tigers verbal. However, Keys has made it more than clear that he hasn't shut down his process. The door appears to be more than open for a program like Tennessee to change his mind.

The Vols and Heupel can of course sell him on being a superstar down the road with Brandon, the top quarterback in the country for the 2026 class. Come this weekend, Savion Hiter, the No. 1 RB out there, will be visiting Tennessee. The Vols are in good shape to potentially sign Brandon, Keys and Hiter, which would be unreal for the SEC powerhouse. Only time will tell if that goes down or not.
