The calendar may read late January, but Tennessee football fans are already looking ahead to spring ball. At the same time, some people are gearing up for the visit season that's coming in June? You bet that's the case.
This week, some big-time news came in for the Vols and head man Josh Heupel - one of the top offensive lineman in the country is ready to give the team a serious look. Four-star OL Darius Gray has already scheduled five official visits, with the Vols set to get one in a little over four months:

4-star OL Darius Gray will take an official visit to Tennessee in June
Indeed, the 6-3, 285-pounder will be making his way to Knoxville from June 7-9. Gray has also locked in officials with Clemson, LSU, Penn State and South Carolina. As you can see, there's some heavy competition to land his services.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Gray, a Richmond, Va., native, is ranked the No. 3 interior offensive lineman in the country, No. 2 prospect from Virginia and No. 31 prospect nationally. Yup, he's going to be a big-time get for whoever lands his verbal.
Will that end up being Tennessee? That's what Heupel is hoping for, as Gray already has incredible size for a high school junior. Can you imagine how much bigger and stronger he'll be able to get once he gets to the college level?
Tennessee has been busy trying to improve the offensive line this offseason, highlighted by the addition of guards Wendell Moe Jr. and Sam Pendelton, who transferried in from Arizona and Notre Dame, respectively.
While Gray is in no rush to make his college decision, Heupel and his staff will look to turn his head while he's on campus in June. There's still a long wait for that visit to arrive, but the good news is that the Vols are serious contenders in this recruiting battle.
