Ryan Staub was brought in this offseason by Josh Heupel to play as the backup quarterback and has already become a fan favorite in just a few short months. He was hyping up George MacIntyre and Faizon Brandon, and he has some really good praise for Josh Heupel and the Tennessee coaching staff.

Tennessee, Josh Heupel lock in visit with legacy recruit the Vols can't let get away

When meeting with the media, Staub said, "Three years of college football, I haven’t had as much coaching as the month that I’ve been here." He also said, "It's cool, it's a lot of special coaching."

Well, it's great to see how much passion Staub already has for Tennessee, and it's great to hear how well the coaching staff is doing. If they're giving Staub a ton of attention, you know dang well they are also giving the other two guys plenty of undivided attention as well.

Random beef between Colorado and Tennessee

This isn't the first time we have had some drama between Tennessee and Colorado this offseason. At the NFL Combine, Tennessee Vol cornerback and former Buffalo Colton Hood said, "I won't really get into the differences, I would say, like at Tennessee, coach Heupel, he definitely cared about his players, he did his best to keep us healthy, and get us to Saturday. So he did a great job with that, ya know? He's just a great coach, a players' coach, I love coach Heupel for sure."

Hood, however, walked it back and said that he wasn't throwing any shade at Colorado or Deion Sanders.

It’s honestly pretty funny how Colorado keeps getting brought up by former players who are now at Tennessee. Maybe the Vols need to play a home-and-home against the Buffaloes, who now have former Tennessee safety Boo Carter on their roster. I'm sure he would like the opportunity to play the Vols, and I bet Deion doesn't like all of these comments.

All of this is quite random, though. It's not like Tennesse and Vanderbilt or Tennessee and Alabama, or Lane Kiffin. Its all just so random, but I'm here for it.
