Tennessee football has been hot on the recruiting trail this summer. It looks like the success could continue as we near the end of July. The Vols have earned eight commitments since the beginning of June and could add a handful more to its 2025 class before the season kicks off at the end of August.

Four-star quarterback commit George MacIntyre hinted on Sunday that a surprise commitment would be coming soon, and this could be the one he's hinting at on social media.

Tennessee has received multiple expert predictions to flip current Oregon commit and four-star tight end DaSaahn Brame from the Ducks to the Vols, including an expert prediction from On3 Sports' Vice President of Recruiting and Transfer Portal, Steve Wiltfong.

Brame is listed as the No. 4 tight end and No. 101 overall player in the 2025 class, according to On3 Sports. Tennessee was a heavy player in his recruiting process before he committed to Oregon. Tennessee was the proverbial runner-up, with Brame picking Oregon over Tennessee.

Flipping Brame from Oregon would be another huge win for the Vols on the recruiting trail at a time when it seems like the Vols can't lose. Tennessee has a few more big commitments coming soon, with players who are favorites to commit to the Vols.

Four-star defensive backs Lagonza Hayward and Onis Konanbanny have received expert predictions to commit to Tennessee. At the same time, four-star linebacker and Georgia commit Jadon Perlotte has also received an expert prediction to flip from Georgia to Tennessee.

Flipping Perlotte would be an equally big deal, with the Vols flipping him from SEC rival and presumptive SEC front-runner Georgia.

The Vols will be looking for more good news over the next few weeks, with four-star offensive lineman Juan Gaston announcing his commitment on August 2, Josh Petty on August 12, and five-star offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. announcing his commitment on August 17.
