Let Rick Barnes cook.
In the blink of an eye, the Tennessee Vols and Barnes have become serious contenders for some big-name transfers, landing predictions from experts for UT to pull things off. The latest news to come in is that Tennessee is in the driver's seat to land Juke Harris, who was once expected to pick Michigan.
It's safe to say Harris is now on commit watch, but he's not the only one. Notre Dame transfer Jalen Haralson is also high on Tennessee, with an On3 prediction also coming his way not long ago. Because of this, we're doubling down on things, rocking with Tennessee to land the two playmakers as well. This would be incredible for Barnes if he pulls the 2-for-1 special off:
Explained why I think the vibes are currently trending in Tennessee’s favor with UNC still jockeying. Michigan is still lurking. This one has taken a few turns so could always change.https://t.co/Z4fQYSI9II https://t.co/mftl4OX1Hc

Juke Harris and Jalen Haralson are fully on commit watch for Tennessee and Rick Barnes
With Harris in particular, it's going to be a program-changing pledge if Barnes does come out on top. He's widely considered one of the top shooters in the portal. He once appeared to be Michigan-bound, and then North Carolina fans thought they were in the driver's seat for him.
With Harris being from NC, the thought of him playing close to home seemed like it was going to send things over the top for the Heels. Instead, the Vols never stopped pushing for him, with a recent in-home visit clearly making a big impact on him too.
As for Haralson, he's another stud playmaker who Tennessee is going all-in for. Not long after he entered the transfer portal, Jon Rothstein reported that he was down to Tennessee, North Carolina and Ohio State. However, the Vols have made him feel like a priority too, which is why things are moving in the right direction.
Thus far for this transfer cycle, the Vols have received commitments from Tyler Lundblade, Dai Dai Ames and Miles Rubin. Barnes is putting together quite the haul and he's not even close to done yet. Harris and Haralson next? Don't be surprised to see that happen, Vols fans.
