One of the biggest developments off the field last year was Tennessee going back to its roots by signing a 10-year apparel deal with Adidas that begins this July. Fans were excited to see the Vols reunite with Adidas, as Nike simply couldn’t match the offer that Adidas put on the table. It's hard not to like this moe if you're a Vols fan. They go back to the old school look and get more NIL opportunities.
CBS has a bold breakout call on a former Tennessee fan favorite
The orange and white jerseys that Tennessee wears are some of the most recognizable in college football. The combination of the Power T, the iconic Tennessee orange and white color scheme, and the program’s tradition gives Adidas some big shoes to fill as it takes over the Vols’ uniforms once again.
With that said, Tennessee fans can finally get a dose of nostalgia as we have our first look at the practice jerseys Adidas has designed for the Vols.
At this moment, the biggest noticeable difference is the three Adidas stripes running down the sleeves, which, honestly, is my favorite part of the design. Overall, Tennessee fans on X seem pretty excited about the new uniforms coming this fall. The practice uniforms aren’t drastically different from the Nike versions, but they definitely have a cleaner look to them.

Please remember though, this doesn’t hint towards anything about the game jerseys. The Nike practice jerseys had block numbers with black outline too. pic.twitter.com/KKcxwkj0Se

In my opinion, the orange practice jerseys look great. I love the full-orange look with the white stripes on the sleeves. The iconic Adidas three-stripe design paired with Tennessee orange just feels like a natural fit. Pair that with some orange pants, and you've got yourself a sweet look.
The white jerseys look clean too, but I’ve always been more of an orange jersey fan myself. A gray quarterback jersey would look pretty awesome as well, but we’ll have to wait and see. It will probably remain the traditional red, although Tennessee quarterbacks did wear gray during the spring game. Of course, that was still under Nike.
Tennessee's new Jersey reveal will be must see when they drop
I actually liked the last Adidas jerseys Tennessee wore back in 2014, and I wouldn’t mind seeing Adidas bring back some of those design elements. Having the Power T centered above the numbers with the Adidas logo above it gave the jersey a unique look. A modernized version of that design could be really sharp.
For now, nobody knows exactly what the new uniforms will look like, but it’s going to be a big moment whenever Tennessee Football finally drops the official reveal.
