There was once a time when veteran center Jonas Aidoo was beloved all over Knoxville. He was a 4-star signee out of the 2021 class, putting the pen to paper with the Tennessee Vols over a boatload of other offers. However, he's no longer a fan favorite.

That's because last year, he made the decision to enter the transfer portal, which infuriated plenty of people. He then upset even more folks when he announced that he was going to be joining an SEC rival, inking with the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Well, in the SEC opener for the Vols, Arkansas is in town and they're looking to send a statement. As you might have been able to guess, UT supporters are trying to make life difficult for the Razorbacks, while also trolling Aidoo whenever they can. They welcomed him back with a shower of boos:

Early on in the action, Aidoo made his way to the charity stripe and he missed both of his free throws. He was getting an earful when he was at the line and then a ton of folks in the stands celebrated wildly when he missed both attempts.

This is probably something Aidoo knew was going to happen, but at the same time, Rick Barnes and the UT players still have plenty of love and respect for their now former teammate. Barnes played things down before the game started too.

Earlier in the week, Barnes said he appreciated what Aidoo was able to get done for his program, but at the end of the day, he's now with the Razorbacks. Thus far in this one, Tennessee has been dominating, which makes things pretty dang sweet for Barnes. Barring a late stunner, the Vols will improve to 14-0 on the year.
