Yes, the main focus for Tennessee football is to take down No. 18 Oklahoma this weekend, but head man Josh Heupel is ready to take advantage of a packed Neyland Stadium. How? By showing recruits it's a whole lot of fun playing in front of more than 100,000 people.

Tennessee loses a LB commit and he's on verge of flipping to Georgia Tech

It indeed is going to be a big recruiting weekend for the Vols, with a pair of 4-star 2026 targets highlighting the list. Earlier in the week, it was confirmed that elite running back Amari Latimer, a Wisconsin pledge, will be taking an official visit to Knoxville. According to Steve Wiltfong, he'll be joined on campus by UCLA pledge Micah Smith. Will the Vols end up pulling off some flip magic?

4-star RB Amari Latimer would be a big-time get for Tennessee football

Starting with Latimer, this is a visit that a lot of people have been talking about in recent days. While he's currently Madison-bound to play for Luke Fickell and the Badgers, there's been plenty of buzz that he could have a change of heart and play for Ohio State instead.

He took a recent visit to Columbus and predictions came in for him to flip to the Buckeyes. However, he is yet to officially change things up and it has opened the door for Heupel to get him to town. Tennessee doesn't have a RB committed for '26 and fans remain a bit bummed Savion Hiter chose Michigan over UT. However, landing Latimer would be incredible if Heupel gets this done.

4-star DL Micah Smith is taking a Tennessee official visit this weekend

As for Smith, he's been UCLA-bound since June, but the coaching change and rough season for the Bruins has given him something to think about. This is why Tennessee is trying to take advantage of things by getting him to take a flight from his native Florida up to Tennessee.

Per the 247Sports Composite, Smith is ranked the No. 13 interior offensive lineman in the country and No. 29 prospect overall from Florida. Throughout his recruitment, the big-bodied 6-5, 325-pounder has picked up 35 offers - he took a visit to Ohio State earlier this fall too. Both of these guys are on 'flip watch' moving forward and Heupel would of course bring in the two with open arms.
