While all of the focus for Tennessee football this week is on the Kentucky Wildcats, some of us are still pretty fired up about the upcoming dance with Oklahoma on Nov. 1 at Neyland Stadium. This will feature a pair of ranked teams and the Vols can't afford another loss on their CFP resume.

Josh Heupel's reaction to Tennessee tackling must be a Tim Banks wake-up call

Knoxville will no doubt be rockin' for that matchup and both Joey Aguilar and John Mateer should be in a spot to throw the ball all over the field. So, will these guys be facing off in the afternoon or under the bright lights for a night game? That's up in the air, as Tennessee announced potential kickoff times of 3:30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. ET. You already know what Vols fans everywhere are hoping for:

Tennessee fans are hopeful the Oklahoma meeting will be a night game

This weekend, Tennessee and Kentucky will face off at 7:45 p.m. ET in Lexington. Then, the Vols will return to Neyland Stadium for the highly-anticipated matchup against the Sooners. There has been no night game for the Vols this campaign and folks are begging for one.

What could be better than Tennessee taking on Josh Heupel's alma mater for a night game, with Neyland packed to the brim? A primetime matchup between Aguilar and Mateer? Yeah, that's something we'd sign up for immediately.

Soon enough, everyone will find out if this will be a night game or not. We don't have to tell you that there are going to be plenty of disappointed UT supporters if this one ends up getting started in the afternoon at 3:30 p.m. ET.

With a win, Tennessee will keep its hopes for the CFP alive, while also closing the door for Oklahoma. With a loss, however, it will end the chase for the Vols. Aguilar and Heupel know this, which is why they're going to be at their best. First, the Vols must take care of business against Kentucky. Should they do that, it will make the Oklahoma game even more intriguing - and it's a battle that must take place at night.
