It was no doubt a successful signing day for Tennessee football this past week. Josh Heupel signed his best class since arriving in Knoxville, and he brought in so top talent at multiple positions.
Despite all the success on signing day, it didn't come without drama.
"Good afternoon, I was just recently logged out of my IG and probably will be logged out of this account as well by my older who has access to my account because I won't sign to the school him and my mother wants - Legend Bey"
The story takes an even wilder turn. On Rivals' Inside Scoop podcast, it was reported that Legend Bey's mother met up with the Tennessee football staff by herself before signed day and even hinted that she may have forged Legend Bey's signature.
Wow. Rivals says Legend Bey’s mom went to Knoxville by herself the week before signing day to meet with staff and pick up paperwork.

Also adds Bey’s signature ultimately may have been forged and he still wants to go to Ohio State.
Horrible situation.

Legend Bey's mom met with Tennessee staff before signing day
Wow. Let's be honest, this is such an unfortunate situation all around. Bey clearly wants to play for Ryan Day and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was in Scarlett and Grey on signing day, but ultimately landed with the Vols, whether it was his decision or not.
If his mother did sign for him, you have to feel bad for Bey not being able to decide where he goes.
My gut says even if Bey eventually makes it to Knoxville, he will most likely enter the transfer portal anyway if he doesn't want to be a Vol. Losing a talented wide receiver like Bey would be a gut punch, but if there's one position Vols fans shouldn't worry about, it's the wide receiver room.
On the other hand, if Bey doesn't want to be here, how will Heupel and staff handle this situation? The standard needs to be met by every single player, and having a locker-room distraction from a player who doesn't want to be a Vol does no good at all.
Don't be shocked if in the coming days we find out another layer to this situation. Stay tuned to All for Tennessee for updates.
