This doesn't seem great for Josh Heupel.

In what turned out to be a Signing Day shocker for the Tennessee Vols and Josh Heupel on Wednesday, 4-star receiver Legend Bey flipped from Ohio State to the SEC side. However, it looks like things are far from over there.

Christmas comes early on Signing Day for Josh Heupel and Tennessee

There's been speculation that Bey never wanted to flip and that he wanted to play for Ryan Day and Ohio State. What got in his way? Rumors have swirled that his mom didn't want to sign off on Ohio State and that she was pushing for the Vols. In a post that was quickly deleted off of social media, Bey appears to hint that's exactly how things went down:

Tennessee signee Legend Bay strongly hinted he'd rather play for Ohio State

Talk about a complete and total disaster. Bey said in the deleted post that it's his mom and brother who want him to suit up for the SEC powerhouse, but he wants to play in the Big Ten for the reigning national champs. What should Heupel do here?

On one hand, Bey is an exciting playmaker and he'd surely be a standout in Heupel's offense. With 5-star receiver Tristen Keys and 5-star quarterback Faizon Brandon on their way to Knoxville, those three making plays with one another has Tennessee supporters pretty jacked up.

However, if Bey is making these kinds of posts online, even if they're being deleted, is the Tennessee staff really going to want to put up with this situation moving forward? With Bey signed, he'd have to be released by the Vols.

There's always some drama during Signing Day, but was anyone expecting this? At Bey's ceremony, he was decked out in Ohio State gear too, which let everyone know where his heart was. Again, the Texas product would be fun to watch for the Vols, but this is already proving to be a giant headache for Heupel and his staff. The hope is things will get resolved soon, but it's proving to be an incredibly messy situation all around.
